My favorite vegetarian restaurant on Rosemead Blvd. Recently I came to Bodhi, was told that they have Taiwan food.
The only store I know of that sells all the magical vegan meat dishes I love ordering at vegetarian/vegan restaurants! Right down to those delicious, mouthwatering drumsticks.
Really well stocked, Vegetarian & Vegan foods, lovely friendly Lady owner. She was very helpful and explained the best way to prepare the food. The prices are really cheap and the food quality is great. Limited opening time, I found that she closes early due to the Covid-19 situation. This is my 3rd time shopping here, I definitely will be back!

Love. This. Place. I am the kind of vegan who loves to cook and especially loves to recreate the flavors and textures from my meat eating days. After a trip to New Orleans I was keen to make a proper "crawfish" etouffee. The biggest challenge was finding a crawfish substitute. Enter the frozen vegan prawns from Bodhi! They were exactly what I needed (and the same thing you find at vegan restaurants) and my dish turned out great! To be clear, this is not a full grocery store. They specialize in vegetarian and vegan processed foods and have a huge selection of them to boot. If you have ever been to a vegetarian-asian restaurant with all of the fake meats they serve, and want to recreate those dishes at home, then you will need to get supplies here. It is the only place I have found so far that carries these foods, and their prices are great!
Came here today and it had a fairly good variety of vegan meats. I think I was just a bit disappointed to find that it's really small and doesn't have as big of a selection of vegan products as I expected, such as cheese, milk, plain tofu, sauces, etc. I'm a bit confused about some of the reviews about the products being in a foreign language...there are literally labels in English on majority of the products! I'm the kind of customer that likes to be left alone and given space while I shop, so I really have no problem with the limited customer service here...I also consider the language barrier, however, the lady was very nice to me. I was really happy to find some organic barely pearls (could not find that anywhere but here) and organic azuki beans! Can't wait to come back :))
Bodhi Vegetarian Supply is definitely worth the trip! I came here by recommendation of another Vegan blogger and I am glad I did! The location is a little difficult to find since its nestled way in the back of an ominous shopping plaza, we had to go into two or three different plazas before finding the right one! Haha Once you walk in, you are met with an array of different types of foods, mainly meat replacements. Read carefully, the first few freezers are not Vegan friendly (and are marked Milk/Egg products). They sell different sizes portions of most things so I bought a ton of small portion items to sample and see which ones I like best. The fake meats are VERY affordable! I bought a ton of food for about $26. The owner/lady at checkout was very nice! She even gave me tips on how to cook and prepare my purchases. I will definitely be back to Bodhi Vegetarian Supply!
I have to make a stop here, a special request for my dad. He has been a vegetarian for over 10 years!! Thank goodness for a store like this for anti-meat eaters!! I wish Hawaii has this store.... Everything so expensive back home and they don't carry many varieties like Bodhi. The only vegetarian food I love is Jai, bean curd & tofu!! I give my dad credit!, I know that I won't survive!! This store is a small store and there are lots of vegetarian supply to choose from. Prices are very reasonable and so grateful they except credit cards!! The owner is friendly, helpful, and she is a vegetarian as well. I was able to get my dad's goods!! Vegetarian Saimin noodles & vegetarian imitation pork. I bought taro cake and seaweed for me.
